What is Ako Teach?
At Ako Teach, our biggest fear is to fast forward 20 years and see te reo Māori sitting on a shelf in a library collecting dust.
KIA ORA,
COME LEARN TE REO MĀORI!
At Ako Teach we have a passion for a bi-cultural Aotearoa, with a focus on the revival and revitalisation of te reo Māori.
With waiata and ngahau (fun) as our focus, we connect with tamariki (children) and whānau (family) who want to make a tangible impact on their language skills.
Our lessons emphasise everyday te reo māori, to build your vocabulary and contribute to our vision of a thriving language, alive, and used on a day to day basis.
He waka eke noa
We're all in this together
Ako Teach runs te reo Māori sessions for preschoolers,
school children, and adults.
We are also bringing te reo Māori and our other services to early childhood centres, libraries, as well as via webinar.
